Dr. Press is very passionate about finding the root cause of an individual’s pain and offering solutions to help achieve optimal movement and function. Whether returning to sport, work or daily life, her goal is to help you get back to what you love. Through her experience in high level sport, both personally and as an athletic trainer, she has a strong background in athletics and injury management/ prevention. Dr. Press began her career working downtown Toronto, ON, in multi-disciplinary clinics gaining experience treating a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions/ injuries. Aside from her chiropractic experience, Dr. Press has worked with teams in various high level and youth sport organizations such as Ontario Soccer and the Greater Toronto Hockey League. She also has a great deal of experience in various hospital-based rehabilitation programs, working in the post-surgical, cardiorespiratory, stroke and pediatric departments. She completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Queen’s University in Kingston ON, where she was also a member of the Women’s Varsity rugby team. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, in Toronto ON. Dr. Press integrates a variety of manual therapy techniques, acupuncture, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, movement assessment, active rehabilitation and education in her treatment approach. She believes the most effective treatment plans are built together and customized to your personal goals. Growing up playing various sports, she has always lived an active lifestyle. When not working in the clinic or on the sidelines, she enjoys CrossFit, skiing, hiking and spending time outdoors. |
